GISRoam Pro is a very advanced application and most of those new features are controlled in the metadata page of the application.
These allow you to affect the display on the map as well as the performance of the rendering by culling information when it is no longer needed or adversely affects performance.
To get to these pages you need only to select your vector features in My Data -> My Shapefiles.
